Éditions place des Victoires publish illustrated books and coffee table books on tangible and intangible heritage. This house diversifies the formats and themes of the works to offer a universal catalog. In addition, it is linked to Mengès editions and Tchou editions. My role as an intern consists of working as an editing assistant:

• Preparing copies;
• Proofreading;
• BÀT verification;
• Checking tracers;
• Study of photoengravings;
• Social networks management;
• Iconographic research for illustrations and covers;
• Writing of arguments and letters;
• Logistics, file processing and inventory management.

Internship at Éditions du patrimoine

APRIL TO AUGUST 2023 - PARIS XIX

Éditions du patrimoine are the editorial branch of the CMN (Centre des monuments nationaux). As such, this publishing house depends on the Ministry of Culture. The catalog is therefore varied, bringing together attractive works, research publications and exhibition catalogues. As an intern, I fulfilled the role of editorial assistant with different editors:

• Preparing copies;
• Proofreading;
• BÀT verification;
• Checking tracers;
• Study of photoengravings;
• Iconographic research for illustrations and covers;
• Writing of a preamble, arguments and letters;
• Logistics, file processing and inventory management.

Internship at Éditions de la Loupe

MAY AND JUNE 2021 - LES PONTS-DE-CÉ

Éditions de la Loupe publishes fiction and some large-print essays. I did this internship to confirm my desire to work in publishing. However, Éditions de La Loupe deals exclusively with derived rights: the proofs are already corrected. And they don't call on a broadcaster: a significant amount of work concerns distribution. This experience was therefore special:

• Mainly typographic proofreading of BÀT;
• Iconographic search for covers;
• Picking;
• Commercial canvassing with assignees of rights;
• Inventory management and storage;
• Customer service.

Exam of mock orals of baccalauréat

MARCH 2023 - ANGERS

During practice exams, I listened to and advised high school students who were preparing for their Literqture baccalauréat. I slipped into the shoes of a professor to bring them what I could as a student and passionate about Literature.

• Literary study of texts upstream;
• Listen to oral presentations;
• Individual feedback including the positive points, the aspects to improve and to deepen, in substance as well as in form;

Transcription of oral testimony

JANUARY TO AUGUST 2022 - ANGERS

As part of my History studies, I had the opportunity to work alongside a researcher on the Indochina War. With the aim of publishing a work on “Eurasiens”, the children often born from a union between a Frenchman and a Vietnamese woman, this teacher entrusted the transcription of testimonies to three students. After interviews with Eurasiens, he transmitted to us the soundtrack which we had to transcribe into writing according to certain formal standards.

• Around ten recordings from 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes;
• Uneven recording conditions;
• Necessary confidentiality: these people, now adults, were telling a painful and intimate story;

Academic support in mathematics

SCHOOL YEAR 2017-2018

Comfortable with mathematics, I was recommended to a schoolgirl in difficulty when I was in high school. Interested in teaching, I took advantage of my didactic skills to offer her sheets, course reformulations, individual help with the exercises, and above all to build her self-confidence. This student then calmly headed towards the certificate exam, which she passed.
