Master's degree in publishing
2022-2023 / 2023-2024 - UNIVERSITÉ D'ANGERS
This two-year master's degree offers complete training to become an editor or editing assistant. In fact, teaching provides the literary basis for considering texts, alongside concrete and complete lessons. Teachers establish a relationship of trust with students and do their best to give them real experience of the world of work.
- Numerous group exercises to simulate real conditions: creating a publishing house, creating a magazine, creating children's and foreign literature collections, establishing a forecast operating account, requesting a quote, working on cover briefs, audit for the redesign of a website;
- Interventions by publishing professionals: this includes editors, assignees of rights, proofreaders, etc.;
- DTP: solid foundations in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, introduction to Premiere Pro;
- Editorial monitoring of several months on a work for the literary season;
- Member of the scientific committee for the organisation of the Journée de l’Édition: establish a theme and target its issues, contact speakers, assist the logistics and communication committees, present the day the same day, ensure regular feedback through deliverables to the financiers;
- Internship reports accompanied by university research linked to the world of publishing: my first file bears the title “Illustrer la langue” and proposes a thinking linking linguistics and semiology, based on the evolution of illustration in publishing ;
- Introduction to web professions: basics of HTML/CSS code and the Wordpress interface;
- Introduction to management.
Double Licence 3 Literature-History
2021-2022 - UNIVERSITÉ D'ANGERS
At the end of my classe prépa, I was keen to continue the rigorous and demanding momentum that I had barely left. I therefore chose the operation of a double Licence to bring together two of my favourite subjects, while maintaining quite the same intensity of work. Thanks to the European universal credits system, I joined this training in the third year, and discovered university studies with interest.
- Research file on the mos maiorum of ancient Rome;
- Analysis file of an interview conducted with my grandmother on her testimony of the Second World War and the post-war period;
- Édition-Communication specialty: practical and theoretical courses on journalism, communication and the book chain;
- Literary studies of texts and books.
Hypokhâgne-khâgne B/L
2019-2020 / 2020-2021 - BLANCHE DE CASTILLE, NANTES
With the aim of continuing on a generalist path, I chose hypokhâgne-khâgne B/L for the diversity of its program. Stimulated by the intellectual requirement and the rigour of the reasoning, I found in the classe prépa the satisfaction of well-conducted, well-written work and a climate geared towards study.
- Versatile and intense training: literature, mathematics, history, economics, social sciences, philosophy, English, German, general culture, theology (option);
- Environment conducive to work: weeks of 30 hours of lessons, punctuated by oral exams of 30 minutes (two per week) and written tests of 4 to 6 hours;
- Preparation for competitive exams: this training prepares you for competitive exams for ENS (Ulm, Lyon and Cachan), business schools, communication, administration and political science, and some engineering schools.
Scientific Baccalauréat, mathematics
2019
Curious and interested in all the ways that opened to me, I decided to take the most general path for my baccalauréat. I therefore obtained a mention Bien in my scientific baccalauréat, with the mathematics specialty and the DNL option (physical sciences in English). However, I did not abandon the human sciences to maintain my versatile profile, and was first in class in history, philosophy and literature.
